Action-packed dance school holiday programme

This January, Anita’s Dance Academy & Wellington Performing Arts Centre are partnering up to bring you an action-packed dance school holiday programme.

Unique opportunity to TRIAL DIFFERENT DANCE STYLES, for both experienced dancers and absolute beginners:

·      Acrobatic Dance,

·      Musical Theatre (acting, singing and dancing)

·      Jazz

·      Contemporary

·      Creative Movement

·      Improvisation Workshop

·      Arts and Crafts

Participants work towards presenting a mini- performance to their families on the Anita’s Dance open day on Saturday 25th January.

Age Groups:

·      5 to 10 years DANCE IS FUN

Learning a different dance routine every day, playing dance games, learning dance positions using colouring in challenges, learning about different dance genres, dance costume dress- up games.

·      11 to 15 years DANCE BOOT CAMP

Learning two different dance routines every day, learning how to prepare for a dance audition, limbering and conditioning games.

·      When: 22nd to 26th January 9am to 3pm • Where: Anita’s Dance Academy, 5 King Street

·      Price: Early bird deal, $60 per day or $240 for all 4 days (ends 25th December)  we also offer a family discount of 10% per sibling.

Registration is required, limit of 20 participants for the younger and 15 for the older age group. Please book to avoid disappointment, if classes reach capacity, the last reservation made will be contacted and moved to a waiting list.
